Meet Dr. Lugo

Dr. Lugo was born and raised in Queens, NY. Never wanting to leave NY, Dr. Lugo completed all of her education here. She graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Following undergraduate, she completed dental school at New York University where she received the “Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association Award” which is presented to the most outstanding fourth-year student in pediatric dentistry.

Straight after dental school, Dr. Lugo completed her 2-year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Her training has given her extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric dental care.

Dr. Lugo has wanted to be a dentist from a very young age. As a child, she had difficulty with dental visits. This motivated her to pursue pediatric dentistry to ensure children are comfortable and cared for throughout their dental visits. She values providing quality care to underserved families.

When not in the office, Dr. Lugo loves trying new restaurants with her husband and friends. She also loves spending downtime on the couch watching cooking shows and cuddling with her cat Venus.
