Meet Dr. Grobois
Dr. Julie Grobois grew up in Westchester, NY. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland in College Park and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in a dental mission to treat an underserved community in Honduras. This experience solidified her decision to pursue dentistry and help people smile every day.
Dr. Grobois then attended dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, she was admitted to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and received several awards, including the Jean Weng & Douglas S. Holden Scholarship, Divisional Excellence Award in Orthodontics, and Divisional Excellence Award in Operative Dentistry.
She continued at Columbia University for her three-year orthodontic residency and obtained her Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. During her specialty training, Dr. Grobois became proficient in treating children and adults with both braces and Invisalign. Dr. Grobois takes pride in forming relationships with her patients and treats them like family. She loves creating beautiful smiles that her patients are proud of!
Dr. Grobois is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and New York State Dental Association.
When she’s not moving teeth, Dr. Grobois enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, traveling, skiing and snowboarding, binging a good show, and eating sushi!
