Meet Dr. Batheja
Dr. Amrita grew up in Westchester County. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Haverford College, her Master’s in Public Health from Rutgers University, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Upon her dental school graduation, she was awarded the James Collord Memorial Award for her achievements in pediatric dentistry and the New York State Founders Student Recognition Award for her role in community service. After dental school, she completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Amrita is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She loves working with children and their families with the goal to make each visit enjoyable and educational. She values including both kids and parents in the plan of care. As someone who was afraid of the dentist when she was young, she is sensitive to the fears that may be associated with going to the dentist and hopes to help alleviate these with each visit.
Dr. Amrita remains an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
Dr. Amrita lives with her husband in New York. When she isn’t working, she enjoys cooking, making jewelry, and spending time with her family.
